Thanks for the great pattern when I told my family I was going to Knit these mittens, they said yah sure you won’t be able too, but I proved them wrong!!! I made them!! The look great!!

The Maple Leaf design is too wide for a child’s version, but you could use smaller needles and a dk weight yarn such as Sirdar Country Style to downsize the pattern.

First, I have to say I adore this pattern, and just found the link on ravelry. Secondly, the Olympics have inspired me to knit again, after seeing athletes wearing toques, scarves, mittens. I am inspired again!

just found this blog, and the mitten pattern. much nicer to knit these than wear the HBC version.
