Diamond Yarn, established in 1963, is the largest importer and wholesale distributor of hand knitting yarn in Canada with warehouses in both Toronto and Montreal. Our sales representatives cover the country from end to end.
Our collection includes the best yarns (over 500 qualities!) from the leading manufacturers around the world as well as the latest designer-inspired knitting leaflets and books. These are all available through our retail customers across the country.
Our sister company, Nova Yarn, was established in the mid 1990s to complement Diamond’s brands. There were just so many great yarns available—we could not pass up the opportunity! Today Nova is the second largest yarn wholesaler in Canada, following directly in Diamond’s footsteps. This site presents both Nova's and Diamond's collections together.
